Complexity
Project overview
Complexity is a mobile platform that combines location-based discovery, beverage reviews, and community features in one experience. It helps people who enjoy non-alcoholic drinks discover local venues, rate their atmosphere, and share their finds through a social feed.

Project context
The client had an initial concept and a small set of interface screens but lacked a clear product structure and scalable user experience. Within a limited budget, my goal was to redesign the existing foundation, define core user journeys, and deliver an MVP that could evolve into a complete social platform.

Connecting Discovery with Social Content
Challenge
The product needed to combine venue discovery with social engagement without making the experience feel fragmented.
Solution
My idea was to make a social feed with community posts the core of the app and move the map into a supporting role. I connected the content to users’ locations, allowing them to discover nearby venues through community posts. Each post expands into detailed information, reviews, photos, comments, and navigation, creating a seamless transition between browsing and exploration.
Making Reviews Easy to Create
Challenge
Writing reviews required more than a simple text form—it had to combine structured information with personal experiences.
Solution
Designed a guided review flow that combines photos, ratings, beverage details, and written feedback into a single intuitive process, making content creation fast while keeping reviews informative.
Organizing Personal and Social Content
Designed a profile experience with dedicated sections for personal posts, friends, and account settings, giving users more ways to engage with their content and social connections.
Design Process
Because the core audience was a community of people who choose a non-alcoholic lifestyle, my proposal to shape the app as a social network received positive feedback from the client and aligned naturally with the previously defined feature priorities. By combining social interactions, location-based discovery, and community-generated content, I shaped an MVP with a flexible foundation for future development.
